The whole world has darkened. You may feel we are burrowing ourselves deep within our caves, at this time of the year. Can you see your way clearly into your future?
We all switch on the bright lights, adorn our homes and gardens with twinkling lights, and strike the match to light the flame of candles burning brightly in an attempt to see through the darkness. We have slunk down into the sweet duvet of autumn and make every attempt to be safe, warm and protected. We listen to music, which brings to us memories of our past. We plan for the end of the year, and more especially the steps we will take into the next year. Washing away the debris from our sandy, salty summertime was difficult for some, but necessary. Shrills of voices can be heard as children play outside, dogs bark and couples huddled together in bubbles of love, step out to dance and sway and speak of their plans for their dream destinations ahead.
It is usual for all of us to take up new studies, hobbies and share interests with friends. Enhancing our knowledge of the world and everything in it, and of ourselves. Expanding our circles socially, and nurturing self with pamper sessions, fluffy pj sleepovers with popcorn watching movies. A self-soothing time for body, mind and spirit.
A magical time of the year, autumn moving into winter. Excitement building for the Christmas festivities ahead and travel plans made for visiting families and friends.
Even so, there are certain steps you can do for yourself in sprucing up your energy in homes, and work environments, and of course within yourself.
The THIRD EYE CHAKRA is one of the most important energy centres of your whole being.
Often seen by those who see colour within the aura of others, as indigo blue. The shades of evening skies we see outside our windows at this time of year. The third eye is incredibly instrumental in seeing the way ahead for ourselves in our lifetime. Decisions made on gut instinct, are secured all the more by the visions of the inner eye, the sixth sense, the crystal clear perception of what lies ahead.
Are you aware of your third eye? Do you exercise the third eye?
Some months ago, I received an enquiry from a student of mediumship.
“How can I unblock my third eye?” he asked.
“Your third eye cannot ever be blocked, it is an open, ever functioning faculty of your spiritual presence.”
However, I continued to explain to him, that in exercising his psychic ability daily, it could brighten up, sharpen acutely, and accelerate the accuracy of his ‘second sight’.
Do you have second sight? Are you always aware of when it is working successfully? Do you feel confused as to how to SEE with your inner vision? Does your third eye see things you would rather not see? Are you afraid to see into the energy around you and expand your self awareness?
Here is a simple way in which to enhance your perception, that I am delighted to share with you.
Third Eye Meditation for Clear Seeing
Find yourself a comfortable space, where you will not be disturbed. Sit, rather than lie down (as you will more than likely fall off to sleep if you do), which isn’t the object of this exercise. Remember to switch off your mobile phone and ensure you are warm.
Bring your awareness to your breathing and allow your own natural rhythm to relax you down into a softness of composure. As you do your shoulders drop a little in further relaxation, and then feel your hips gently sink into your seat. Feet pressed just lightly on the floor, see in your mind’s eye, a blue swirling mist beginning to unfurl across the top of your feet. Heels and ankles sense the cooling, calming energy of the energy now moving up and across your calves, shins, knees, thighs, hips and stomach. Feeling a satin shawl in burnt orange, see and sense this energy pull. See ahead of you in the centre of your room, a golden orb of light. It is suspended, three feet off the ground, moving slightly left to right. It is weightless. Breathe in the golden light. Sense it moving towards you and touch in gently in both of your hands in your mind’s eye only. Pull it in gently towards your sacral chakra, just above your belly button. Hold it there for a count of sixty seconds, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6……………..
Softly pull this upwards across your torso, chest, shoulders and across your arms. You feel a loose satin hood gently rest upon the top of your head, as your awareness of safety is increased.
Focus on these colours as you take in a deep breath further relaxing you down into a state of full suspension of thoughts and emotions. Do not feel a failure if your mind is racing with thoughts and you drift away from the impressions of colours, you can simply take yourself back to focus on the colours and sense of soothing relaxation.
Now, as you press your fingers gently into that golden orb of light, lift it up to your third eye. See and feel it just slightly touching your skin upon your brow. Take in three deep breaths, right down to your sacral chakra, and the see the golden orb dissipate into the third eye chakra.
Seeing sparkling golden energy burst and swirl, drift and bounce around your third eye energy centre of perception, feeling all the while brightness and lift to your inner sense of second sight.
Now see one image or object in front of you.
For the next five minutes of this meditation, connect to the image, or object, and feel your way around the reason why it has been given to you today.
Gently bring your awareness back to the seat in your room, your eyelids flooded with golden light, your third eye open fully and take three further deep breaths.
